What does the medical assistant program cover?

Our program covers medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, clinical procedures, medical billing and coding, and administrative skills.

How long is the medical assistant program?

The program typically takes about 12 weeks to complete with 12 weeks of classroom/lab instruction, followed by 3 weeks to complete the 80 hours Externship in a medical office with hands-on experience as a medical assistant, for a total of 12 weeks.

What are the prerequisites for enrolling in the program?

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.

Will I get hands-on training?

Absolutely! Our program includes extensive hands-on training in clinical procedures, laboratory techniques, and patient care to ensure you are job-ready.

Are job placement services available?

The training program makes every effort to help students with their job-seeking skills by offering guidance to its graduates in seeking job placement opportunities, including resume preparation, interview resources, and maintenance of employment records for the graduates once the student reports they have successfully gained employment.
